Though i missed the fascinatiing World Cup Final, that was played between Italy and France as i was having a good time spending my vacations in Nathia Gali and Murree,i never missed the bit by bit of the match SMS ing “FB” to Mobilink dozens of times to get the latest updates, i missed watching it though. It was as my friends say “A War! between two Nations”.

So the news is that France got a contraversial penalty kick in the 6th minute of the match and Zidane made no mistake in chipping it inside the net but the persistant Italians managed and equalizer in the 18th minute when Marco Materazzi scored off with a header through a corner kick.The rest of the game as they say was a fun to watch specially the incident of Zidane headbutting Materazzi in the second extra time and then shown Red Card.The match was decided on Penalty shoot out where Italians missed none of the 5 penalties and the French missed one of them out of the four and thus the trophy was for Italy.
