For those of you who really missed out the Javed Chaudhry columns from the Jang Daily and couldnt mange to grab hold of the Express Daily and who were online readers of his columns, the good news is that they are now publicly available to anyone in the Express Daily website that launched two days back.The website boasts good features such as the ability to see the whole newspaper in the form of E-paper,also one can see all the columns after registering to the website for free.

Probably because Jang is going towards nudity. And Jeved Chaudhary is not the kind of a man.
Assalam-u-alaikum,
I write these lines in sheer shame and disgrace for what FTV is
promoting in our country.
I have a SUN TV connection at my home.
Midnight 20/21 Aug 2006, 2AM to 3AM in the morning, I was watching a
documentary biography video on History Channel on Ramzi Yousuf, the man
allegedly behind the World Trade Center bombing in 1993. At 3 AM I
flipped back channels towards CNN to see what is the latest on Labnaan
before going to sleep. In the middle I stumbled upon FTV Channel, which
is by the way being shown under the Heading "ARY QTV", what a disgrace
any way. At that very moment something caught my attention. It was
showing "Midnight hot" on the bottom left of the screen and a show going
on with models claded in bikinis. I still did not quite come out of this
shocking surprise when yet a couple of more models showed up "with no
tops". Some can be easily categorized as "full frontal nudity" and
"nipple nudity". The only thing missing from this entire one hour
demonstration was a sexual intercourse. Rest everything was there, even
a video on phone sex in public. What a shame. What a shame indeed. . .
. It was a show which showed models alternatively with tops off or
bottoms behind a see through, completely and seductively showing the
very private parts of a woman. I was stunned !!! I waited to see if this
is just a coincident or is there more. The show ended and immediately
the other one started with same "dresses off" policy. Sun TV , are you
pleasing the foreigners living in this country ? Who has given you such
right ? Where is PIMRA ? Where are it's policies ? Why doesn't PIMRA
cancels FTV's license and put a ban on it? It was hight of my patience.
Is this the Islamic country we are living in? Is this what is being
spread under the name of Modern Islam and Enlightenment ? I started
searching the web for phone numbers of various newspapers. I tried
Nawaiwaqt, but the website did not open. I tried Jung, it did show up.
In the contact us page I found a number

I dialed that from my mobile phone but it did not get through. I knew I
am striking my head against this evil wall, but still I kept trying. But
to no avail. I am sure that these people have designed their websites
poorly. No crime reporter number, no chief editor's number, etc etc. And
many of the newspapers seem to facilitate in spreading this
nudity. So now I am forced to use the email method.
Gentlemen. Please rise. Speak up. Spread the word. Get this shit stop
spreading. Please have merci on your self and all of us. Think, what
will this bring to our children ? our brothers and sisters ? I am
writing to those who I can. Please for Allah's sake. You will be asked
and you will be held responsible for what you could have done with the
power bestowed upon you by Allah.
I am trying to write to as many newspaper agencies and people as
possible. Who will speak up the truth ? Allah's order ?

Not only Javed sahab but other vateran columinists like abdul qadir hasan, zahida hina, hasan nisar have also left jang,,,this is bcoz ,,they all write against this anarhy and chaos happening in pakistan since 7 yrs ,,,and jang group (who should be called as nudists' group) couldnt afford this "crime" ...
people say that "in pakistan there is freedom of speech" ...but i guess there is no freedom of speech here...!! only freedom of crime ,, sex and misuse of powers....!
may Allah give Javed Chaudhry and others, more potential to write and to speech...
last but not least..

according to alexa.com,,,,,,www.express.com.pk has made its positiion better since last 3 months,,,,it was somewhere on 4300000th position on web,,,but now its on 99000 position..i guess its due to javed chaudhry and others..
we should fight against Jang grp...and geo network,,,as they r promoting prostitution only ,,,! and nothing ..!

I have been reading his columns for quite sometime now. I shared many of his thought provoking writings with my children. Truly an eye opener. Though all his efforts dont seems to move the culprit ones but they can be easily identified. Please say/ALARM people about the Horrifying affects of ROSHAN KHAYALI (Moderate Islam).

Roshan Khayali & Modern Islam preaching now-a-days just reminds me of a TV drama which was shown on PTV many years ago, maybe it was start of Zia’s era.
In a girls college function, a girl wins a singing competition. Chief Guest, late Afzaal Ahmed, gives her the prize. Later on he makes his way to the girl’s family. That orphan girl belonged to a poor family. Afzaal Ahmed encourages the girl about her god gifted singing talent and persuades the mother and the girl to bring more gloom by RIAZ (practice). One day he shows up with Ustad Jees (Tabla and Harmonium players) to bring more Nikhaar to the melodious voice of the girl.
Sounds of Tablas and Harmonium annoys the neighbours and one day Afzaal gets confronted by one of the neighbour with good old dialogue “Yeh Sharifoan Ka Mohallah Hai, Hum Yahan Yeh Drama Nahin Honay Daingay”.
Afzaal goes in the house and complains to the mother and girl about narrow mindedness of the Mohallah. He then persuades both to move out from “Dirty Minded people area” to “Roshan Khayal & Modern” locality (Bazar-e-Husn).
Because of the Tablas, Sarangis & Harmoniums’ sounds from everywhere, initially both mother and girl feel uncomfortable in this Bazar but Afzaal, using his sweet and nice voice again persuades them.
One day while the girl was practicing her voice with RIAZ, someone knocks at the door, upon opening a drunk man comes inside and asks the girl to sing something good for him. Both mother and girl gets upset and ask that man to leave “Hum Aisay Loag Nahin Hain”. They complain it to Afzaal who says “Yeh Aap nay Theek Nahin Kiya. Jab Tak Qadar Daan Nahin Hongay to Fun Main Nikhaar Kaisay Aye Gaa”.
Then in background both girl and her mother hears the sounds of Ghungroos and Ustaad Jee’s THA THAI THAK (Visualising that they have now increased the population of KANJARS).
With the rain of new Channels and TALENT HUNT. ARE WE MOVING IN TO MAKE MORE KANJARS.
I remember that all actors and FUNKAARS always say “YAHAN KA MAHOAL BOHAT FRIENDLY HAI. LOAG BOHAT ACCHAY HAIN. MORE AND MORE EDUCATED PEOPLE (FAMILIES) SHOULD JOIN US. ACCHAY BURAY LOAG HAR JAGA HOTAY HAIN. INSAAN KO KHUD ACCHA HONA CHAHIYAY”.

We should observe the people and should not worship blindly. Hazrat Ali says "If you want to understand someone, then arrange a travel with that. In the other words, I want to say that an age requires to understand a person.
In my experince, those who are away from their sayngs are not able to even consider. Wherever the matter of Javed Chaudhry, I think he is that person which's practicle and sayings have great distance.

Hi, I hope may all of you doing fine, some peepul are made by God for some special tasks or purouses and I strongly bleive Mr Javeed choudoury is one of them. He is the man who stand like a nude boat in strong windy storm. I respect him a lot but not more than his writing and I wish all of you know how do I say it,, I try to practise what he says or sparks to say, I hope all of you know and I guess so he really wants us to think about being a nation who stand with its own superb values, freedom of speach and quality of democracey.

I like the articles of Javed Chaudhry very much. My father and other family member are also his fans. Recently I have bought his book, Zero Point (1). I am going through it nowadays. His articles make us to THINK. His way of writing is very different from other writers. He convey his messege in a very polite way. I am also writing articles in a monthly magazine (Sada-e-Ummat) and I try my level best to learn the ideas and the way of writing from my DEAR Javed Chaudhry. I LOVE U Chaudhry Saab.

I am your fan since 1993 when I read an article about "Taj Mahal", I was reading your articles in Jang and now I left that Newspaper and started to read daily express only for your articles. Your articles are very interesting and also very close to reality. I love with ur writing.
