Since the 1st of August till date, this is what The Daily Express shows daiily on there main page (that is half covered by this Ad). Just see this….
I was wondering that atleast for a patriotic day like the Independence Day, Telefun (who has already been bugging us in every movies and on the TV with there Ads) couldnt have found a single Pakistani Actor for this Ad?Shameful!!!
Atleast Filmstar Nadeem,Moeen Akhter,Zia Mohiuddin etc and alot more would have looked more cool in the ad that displays on the front page of the most upcoming newspaper of the country,seriously this shook my emotions atleast for my country!!!

It certianly is shameful to see Amitab Bachan on the ad. But then again, hasnt he done more than the other fellows you mentioned to gain the admiration of most of Pakistan? I dont despise Amitab for his nationality, or ethnicity, but for the work he does. Was he a business tycoon, who would have been the interest of my researchs. Lastly, it is amazing to see Pakistanis looking to foriegn talent to boost sales. What kind of a market are we that we have foriegners helping us buy Pakistani services and products? I won't say anything about Amitab but this annoying TELE-SCAM. I mean who on earth are these people??? do we still have fools calling this shitty phone number to listen songs and other crap?? Thats BS

Well well nice pick-up khan sahab, and I totally agree with you. Atleast, Pakistani's must get rid of them on 14th August, is'nt it? Tele-Fun people seems empty-heads, can't they even figure out that Tele-Fun can get more calls if they become voice of Pakistan, even they can spread their network across the border(though they have already much better then telefun). And I'm sure that now other empty-head companies will try to get in to this hype.

really man thats good topic i just want to say that AMItab bachan!!!!,the india's famous celebrity,has that much extra time that he is giving an advertizment in TELEFUN(090078601)...ha ha...i cant forget this number because whenever i see an indian movie i abuse telefun and that rediculous number.Such type of companies are depreciatinig the quality of movies infact yesterday i saw a movie on dvd and that bugging telefun was there...if i were amitabh bachan then i would never work with such kind of baseless company.

I think this ad has been dubbed as i saw the Heera Pheree group including Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty doing telefun ad; which is actually a scene from the film Heera Pheree. I have'nt seen Amitabh ad on tv but when i saw it in news paper, it made impression as AMITABH of K3G era. "Big B" is having many duplicates voice wise and face wise in the sub-continent so i dont think that Amitabh has actually done this ad but Telefun is trying to gain fame in cheap ways....

I've visited your blog a long ago (when it didn't have so many categories). But now i'm really impressed to see this. So i thought to place my (valuable) say here.
Well the issue you raised is really a serious one. I agree to the comment placed by Phil where he doesn't subject admiration to nationality etc, but here the case is not of admiration instead it's the case of celebrating our national day in inapproriate manner. Secondly I must say that this type of marketting may be tepmporaily benificial for telefun but it's really deploying the arenas for our talent and our legends.
