my take on your questions :)

Answer-1
Telenor has developed a flasy website for such type of user(mostly youngsters). You might have seen it. djuice.com.pk

Answer-2
The PTA will make sure that the companies would stick to adherence and implementation of support activities, which would include better customer services, good coverage and stuff like that.

Answer-3
The trends which we are observing at the moment in all such industries, say Telecom, Banking, media etc. Yes, i believe that such big boys would jump in. Fasi said that only in Teleom sector, the existing players has invested heavily and they would continue doing it.

Fasi Zaka has always special love for our institute. In the start the director talked about some plans they had discussed with him and are going to be executed in the last quarter of the year 2007.
// i guess you came in the last 30 or so minutes, so you missed that part.

The man has contributed substantially.
Not an easy job, particularly in this part of the world.

Query for you, Khushal!
Are you happy with the new campus?

I was there from the start, and you are right. There were some really stupid questions. Fasi shared some valuable facts. The man has got a great sense of humor.
There's a immense growth in telecom sector. Let's consider the stats from the first 3 quarters of 2007. You would start to believe what the Rhodes Scholar said to the group of approx. 100 students.

Mobilink gained the most subscribers (5.45 million) in this period. Its market share has been decreasing gradually but that’s expected with the increase in competition and teledensity.
Telenor was the fastest growing company, 45% of their current subscribers (5.35 million) were gained this year.

What about these Pakistani Idol Auditions?
I heard Geo people are coming tomorrow to the new campus.
any updates?

Ufff Khushal, so much celly post!

But actually I'd have to agree with Mr Zaka for many reasons, that I'm not going to mention here, just to quote another example of same sorta strategy.

This is a little foody, (as I know you love to talk about food all the time so). Well, same is the case with Pizza Hut and KFC. More profitable is the former one, while the later has an outgrown network (though the example is subjected to the major cities only, but kinda marketing strategy it is, can easily be compared to that of cellular COs case).

Very informative .. I didn't know warid was so successful. I had an illusion that warid was losing the game by stopping all around. But I still say that they'll be losing in the long run if they stop updating.

And telenor is inserting its brand into everyone's mind .. so it'll reap the fruit in future. If a person doesn't have a specific choice, he'll surely go for telenor.
