As I was reading the news paper some days ago, I read about a very shocking news. The news paper stated that there was no possibility of rain for the next 2 months!!! The moment I read this I just went blank. And I imagined what could be our future like with out this virtue provided to us by All Mighty ALLAH. Later when I reached home, I was very tired from the busy classes and the hot sun so I went to the wash room and began to wash my face and as I opened the tap and splashed the fresh water on my face I came back to life and was fresh again. But then again my mind began to think that I am faciliated with washing my face with fresh water just imagine how are those people living who are completely cut off from such facilities? One day we too are going to face such a situation and that is not far away, because in major cities like Lahore & Rawalpindi already there is a major problem regarding water and its scarcity. As the winters have finished we find the same sun that we used to praise for its warmth in winters now cursed because of its heat in summer. This time the summer has been very harsh so far. To think of it these are the days of spring, but one can find a very hot burning sun. Our planet is changing slowly and this all because of we all using up our resources lavishly. Every second person I know owns a car and these cars emit CO3 (Carbon Monoxide) which is very harmful for the ozone layer. Now this Ozone layer is very friendly to us in many ways. It is because of this Ozone layer that we can enjoy the pleasant sun shine, the cool breeze and to go on there is no stopping, but these harmful gas emitted by the cars and bikes destroy our ozone layer which in turns gets weak and in the end perishes ultimately leaving us to be cooked up by the sun. What this Ozone layer does is that, it blocks the harmful rays of the sun, but if there is no Ozone layer then there is no protection and this could lead to serious health & environmental problems like skin cancer and a very dry hot environment which in turn gives rise to dust which makes the situation more worst. I feel there is a big need to overcome such a problem as it is not just the problem of rich or poor but it is about humanity and its survival.

One solution I believe to this problem is to plant as many as trees as possible. But in this busy society now a day we can hardly find any one concerned about such things. We our selves are slowly destroying our lives and the most tragic part is we don’t even bother to realize about it. Come friends join hands and think on it as we are the future of the up coming society it is up to us to do some thing at least there is no harm in trying out good deeds…
